Teach for Madagascar TALY Corps Volunteers Complete Service
We are pleased to announce that two Teach for Madagascar TALY Corps Volunteers have completed their service supporting FRAM, or community, teachers at two Anjiro public elementary schools, EPP Sabotsy Anjiro and EPP Tsimialonjafy. From September to December 2023, the two volunteers worked to improve the pedagogical skills of the FRAM teachers to advance better educational outcomes for rural students in Anjiro.
Today, Anjiro Initiative’s Head of Programs, Franka, and Program Administrator II, Tendry, assisted the two volunteers with preparing for their departure from Anjiro. We thank the two amazing TALY Corps Volunteers for their service to the people of Anjiro!
Teach for Madagascar’s TALY Corps Program was officially established in 2021 to support education in rural areas of Madagascar. Inspired by the Peace Corps, TALY Corps Volunteers live in rural communities for three months or longer and work alongside community members to advance improved educational outcomes in Madagascar.
