Anjiro Initiative Welcomes Teach for Madagascar TALY Corps Volunteers 4th Cohort

Anjiro Initiative and Teach for Madagascar are pleased to announce their continued partnership and to welcome the 4th cohort of TALY Corps volunteers at EPP Sabotsy Anjiro. From March to June 2024, the two TALY Corps volunteers Marie Victoire Sandratriniaina and Ninah Béatrice Andosoa will work to improve the pedagogical skills of FRAM teachers.

Marie Victoire chose to serve TALY Corps because “all Malagasy children have the right to learn and benefit from an authentic education.”

On March 7, 2024, the volunteers were received by Anjiro Initiative Head of Programs Franka, Anjiro Initiative Program Administrator II Tendry, TFM Representative Fanilo, and EPP Principal Saraha. They also met Anjiro Mayor Sitraka.

Teach for Madagascar’s TALY Corps Program was officially established in 2021 to support education in rural areas of Madagascar. Inspired by the Peace Corps, TALY Corps Volunteers live in rural communities for three months or longer.
