For All Malagasy Students

Anjiro Initiative Provides Educational Grants and Partnerships to Support All Students in Madagascar

Founded by Clifford Duong in 2014, Anjiro Initiative aims to expand its impact across Madagascar, guided by a mission to support students in marginalized communities. We collaborate with educators and families to provide resources for success, supporting Malagasy students at all academic levels, from kindergarten to university. This is Anjiro Initiative’s 11th year of fundraising for the community of Anjiro, Madagascar. Campaign proceeds are granted directly to schools to cover the cost of annual tuition for students at the primary, middle, secondary, and university levels. Join our mission today!

What We Do

Anjiro Initiative supports Malagasy students no matter who they are or where they are in their academic journey. From the young child in the rural community of Anjiro who finishes their homework by candlelight to the university student in Tana who is looking to author her first scientific publication for an international journal, our organization contributes to the betterment of all Malagasy youth by partnering with their families and loved ones to provide them with the resources they need to succeed.
